Kyle Clifford, Matt Roy and Michael Amadio also scored, Dustin Brown and Tyler Toffoli had two assists each and Jack Campbell made 24 saves for the Kings, who owned a 49-27 shot advantage. Ryan Getzlaf took a long outlet pass from Troy Terry and scored 2:30 into overtime Friday to give the Anaheim Ducks a 2-1 victory over the visiting Vancouver Canucks. Jakob Silfverberg scored a short-handed goal and goalie John Gibson made 39 saves as the Ducks cooled off the high-scoring Canucks to improve to 6-1-0 at home. You'd probably like a bit more production from everyone else but it's not a huge deal as long as your top four forwards are all at or around a point a game. Especially when both goaltenders are playing well. And that's certainly the other part of this: The Canucks had a bit of an iffy situation in the crease coming into the year. Continue to Article
