The St. Louis Cardinals and the owner of radio station KMOX-AM said Friday that Cardinals games will continue to air on the station through the 2024 season as part of a five-year extension to their radio rights agreement. With the extension, KMOX, owned by Entercom Communications Corp., will remain the Cardinals flagship station and broadcast all regular season games, postseason matchups and spring training contests. Adam Wainwright has agreed to a one-year contract to return to the St. Louis Cardinals for a 16th season. The deal is for $5 million plus up to $5 million in incentives, The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal reported. Five-time MLB All-Star Josh Hamilton was arrested on a charge of injury to a child in Fort Worth, Texas on Wednesday, according to multiple reports. CBS DFW reports that Hamilton turned himself in at the Tarrant County courthouse on the third-degree felony charge and faced a $35,000 bond. According to the report, one of the bond conditions prohibited Hamilton from contacting one of his three daughters or any child under the age of 17. Continue to Article
