Chandler Hutchison had a career-high 34 points, Marcus Dickinson scored 10 of his career-best 12 points in the final 12 minutes and Boise State overcame an 11-point second-half deficit to beat Utah 73-68 on Tuesday night in an opening-round game of the NIT. Zach Haney had five of his seven points, five rebounds, three blocked shots and two steals in the second half for Boise State (20-11), which has won at least 20 games in each of the last five seasons. Malik Pope tied his career high with 22 points with 10 rebounds, Max Hoetzel had 21 points and San Diego State dominated the second half for an 87-68 win over Boise State on Thursday night in the Mountain West Conference tournament quarterfinals. Jacob Van and Hayden Graham combined for 33 points, 21 in a dominant first half, and 10th-seeded Air Force defeated seventh-seeded Wyoming 83-68 in the opening round of the Mountain West Tournament on Wednesday.
