Cleveland left fielder Tyler Naquin was carted off with a sprained right knee Friday after making a stunning catch in the fifth inning of The Indians 4-0 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays in St. Petersburg, Florida. Naquin tracked a fly ball off the bat of Joey Wendle to the warning track, crashing into the fence at full speed to rob Wendel of a run-scoring extra base hit. The Glass family has officially sold the Kansas City Royals after much speculation and rumors over whether or not the team would be sold. Now-former owner David Glass and family sold the Royals to a group of Kansas City investors, led by John Sherman for $1 billion. “The decision to sell the Royals was difficult for our family,” Glass, the former CEO of Walmart, said in the statement. Cleveland Indians left fielder Tyler Naquin was carted off the field after crashing into the wall and spraining his right knee on a catch Friday night at Tropicana Field. The 28-year-old Naquin was unable to put any weight on his leg before he was put on the cart.
