No offense to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, but the Eastern Conference hasn't exactly posed much of a threat to the Warriors in the NBA Finals during the last two title bouts. With James heading to the Lakers last summer, the East is wide open for the first time in eight seasons and there are a number of teams that have the talent to win the conference and take on the Dubs in the NBA Finals should the Warriors get through the Western Conference gauntlet again. Sexton scored 25 points and became the first NBA rookie to score at least 23 in seven straight games since 1998 as Cleveland delayed Milwaukee from clinching the Central Division on Wednesday night with a 107-102 win over the bruised Bucks, who were without superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. Sexton made a 3-pointer with 1:42 left and dropped a driving layup one minute later as the Cavs held on for one of their signature wins in an otherwise dismal season. The Milwaukee Bucks played without All-Star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo for a second consecutive game Wednesday night as he continues to nurse a sprained right ankle. Antetokounmpo, a candidate for MVP, did not play in the Bucks' road game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday. Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant told LeBron James not to give up and keep pushing as the NBA playoffs slip away. James arrived from the Cleveland Cavaliers amid much hype and fanfare, however the Lakers are 31-40 and set to miss the postseason in 11th position in the Western Conference.
