Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green was handed a one-game suspension by the team on Tuesday following a bust-up with Kevin Durant, the team said. During Monday's overtime defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers, Green was seen in a heated exchange with Durant following the end of the fourth quarter. Draymond Green received a one-game suspension without pay from the Golden State Warriors for "conduct detrimental to the team" in the fallout from Monday night's explosive exchange with All-Star teammate Kevin Durant. Green was set to serve his suspension during Tuesday night's home game against the Atlanta Hawks and reportedly sacrifice more than $120,000 in the process. Draymond Green’s one-game suspension for “conduct detrimental to the team” came after he repeatedly called Kevin Durant a “bitch” in a verbal confrontation between the two stars during the Golden State Warriors’ loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night, league sources told Yahoo Sports. Yahoo Sports first reported Green would be held out of Tuesday night’s game against the Atlanta Hawks at Oracle Arena before the Warriors announced the suspension without pay.
