Last night seven Tampa Bay Rays pitchers combined for a three-hit shutout against the Toronto Blue Jays, striking out ten. This came first in the playoffs, where managers’ quick hooks in the past few years have led to defacto bullpen games and then in the 2018 season in which the Rays have made bullpen games part of their actual approach.
