The Phillies could not hold a five-run lead and ended up with a terrible 8-6 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday. Aledmys Diaz, the Jays' No. 9 hitter, clubbed a three-run double with two outs in the bottom of the eighth to give Toronto the lead. Jake Arrieta wasn't too happy with the effort his Philadelphia Phillies produced against the Toronto Blue Jays. Kendrys Morales homered for the fifth straight game, Billy McKinney hit a two-run shot and Toronto beat Philadelphia 4-2 on Friday night, handing the slumping Phillies their fifth loss in six games. A long eighth inning prevented Nola from a chance at his first career complete game. Pat Neshek pitched a clean ninth for his fourth save of the season. The Phillies, after mustering just one hit in the first six innings, got to Scherzer in the seventh inning when Odubel Herrera hit a no-doubt two-run homer to right field, his 20th of the season.
