Gary Sanchez will miss roughly four weeks due to a Grade 1 strain of the muscle behind his right biceps, Yankees manager Joe Girardi told reporters after Monday's win. Sanchez, who had an MRI earlier Monday, was placed on the disabled list due to the injury after leaving Saturday's game against the Orioles during the fifth inning. From the first time he toed the rubber in the big leagues back in 2012, Chris Archer has always wielded a devastating slider and it has always been his best pitch. No American League pitcher generated more value from their slidepiece in 2015 and '16 than Archer did, and no AL pitcher threw one more often.
