Boston Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller left Saturday's game against the Philadelphia Flyers after suffering an injury midway through the second period. For almost six weeks near the end of the summer, Anze Kopitar resorted to FaceTime in order to keep in touch with his pregnant wife and young daughter in Los Angeles. By the time Kopitar finally returned to the Los Angeles Kings, his wife was just about ready to give birth to the couple’s second child. “I told the staff (of Team Europe) the coaches and everything if something happens, that I’m leaving with the first flight out of Toronto,” Kopitar said.
