San Diego Padres outfielder Jose Urena and two free agent players have been suspended for violating baseball's minor league drug program. The commissioner's office announced Thursday that Urena has been penalized along with outfielder Henry Charles and right-handed pitcher Adam Reifer. Urena was handed an 80-game ban, effective immediately, after testing positive for a metabolite of Nandrolone, a performance-enhancing substance. Continue to Article

Trevor Story willingly donated his helmet and batting gloves to the Hall of Fame as mementos of his historic start. Sorry, Hall of Fame, the Colorado Rockies' rookie shortstop is too superstitious to surrender that piece of lumber. Story made major-league history in Arizona on Wednesday by becoming the first player to hit a homer in each of his first three games. Continue to Article
