There'll be more foreign territory Thursday night as No. 3 Iowa visits College Park for the first time, needing to take down eighth-ranked Maryland for a 10th straight win to add to an already impressive resume. Iowa (16-3, 7-0) has won six league games by double figures, including Sunday's 83-71 victory against then-No. 22 Purdue in which the Hawkeyes went on a 23-6 run to start the second half after trailing by two. Michigan State has dropped three in a row and looks nothing like the team that was ranked No. 1 less than a month ago, and Maryland just suffered a disappointing road defeat and most recently struggled to get past an inferior opponent at home. It's safe to say a game billed as one of the Big Ten's best has lost some luster. College GameDay will be in East Lansing ahead of Saturday night's matchup between the seventh-ranked Terrapins and No. 11 Spartans as both teams try to pick up a signature victory.
