Tyreek Hill has agreed to a contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs, the team announced on Friday. Hill was set to enter the final year of his rookie contract but had been in negotiations with the franchise in the hope of completion prior to the 2019 season. A fifth-round pick in the 2016 draft, Hill has been a Pro Bowl selection in all three of his seasons in the NFL, registering 223 catches for 3,255 yards and 25 receiving touchdowns. The Kansas City Chiefs signed Tyreek Hill to a three-year, $54 million contract extension Friday, locking up the playmaking wide receiver whose off-the-field issues left his future in the NFL in question just a couple months ago. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the Chiefs do not disclose the terms of contracts. The Kansas City Chiefs said on Friday they had agreed a contract extension with Tyreek Hill, who escaped sanction in July following allegations he had assaulted his infant son. The Chiefs said in a statement the contract, worth a reported $54 million (48.9 million euros) over three years, was contingent on Hill staying out of trouble.
