The Cleveland Indians activated right-hander Carlos Carrasco from the 60-day injured list on Sunday, three months after he was diagnosed with leukemia. Carrasco, 32, last pitched for the Indians on May 30 and revealed his diagnosis in July. Hal Naragon, who caught three Hall of Fame pitchers on Cleveland's 1954 World Series team, has died. The Indians said Naragon died Saturday in Barberton, Ohio, where the high school's baseball field is named in his honor. Naragon made his debut with Cleveland in 1951 and played in three games that season before serving two years in the Marine Corps. Continue to Article

Cleveland Indians outfielder Tyler Naquin will miss the rest of the season with a torn cruciate knee ligament, the Major League Baseball side revealed on Saturday. The Indians placed Naquin on the 10-day injured list on Saturday with the torn ligament in his right knee, sustained as he made a spectacular leaping catch in a recent loss to the Tampa Bay Rays.
