ESPN's Jeff Passan cited sources on Wednesday who said that May, ranked the 35th-best prospect among all teams according to MLB Pipeline, will start Friday when the Dodgers host the San Diego Padres in the second game of their four-game series. Anthony Rendon hit a grand slam to break a sixth-inning tie, and Patrick Corbin allowed two runs in six innings as the Washington Nationals beat the visiting Atlanta Braves 6-3 on Monday. Rendon (2-for-5) lofted a shot to left off reliever Chad Sobotka for his 125th career homer and the third grand slam of his career.
