The Miami Marlins activated veteran infielder Martin Prado from the 10-day injured list Thursday and replaced him on the IL with utilityman JT Riddle. Prado is a career .288 hitter with 99 home runs and 606 RBIs over 14 seasons with the Atlanta Braves, Arizona Diamondbacks, New York Yankees and Marlins. Christian Yelich homered for the third time in four days, one of two struck by Milwaukee hitters, to help the Brewers defeat the visiting Atlanta Braves 5-4 on Wednesday afternoon. Yelich hit a solo homer in the sixth inning against Atlanta starter Dallas Keuchel (3-3) to ignite a three-run outburst that allowed Milwaukee to put the game away and ensure a series victory. Milwaukee's Brandon Woodruff allowed only one run over 6 2/3 innings and the Brewers supported him with three home runs, including a grand slam from Christian Yelich, in a 13-1 win over the visiting Atlanta Braves on Tuesday. It is the third straight game in which Woodruff (11-3) has allowed only one run, a stretch of 20 1/3 innings. The Atlanta Braves placed left-handed starter Max Fried on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a blister on his left index finger. The Braves recalled right-hander Bryse Wilson from Triple-A Gwinnett to take his spot on the 25-man roster, and he was scheduled to start Tuesday night's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. Fried, 25, began developing the blister during his start against the Brewers on Monday night, and gave up three hits while striking out five in five scoreless innings to earn the victory, as the Braves went on to win 4-2.
