Despite enduring a June swoon, the Phillies still retained most of their television viewership as ratings were up 23% at the All Star Break compared to the same period of 2018, according to NBC Sports Philadelphia. When the team ended May in First place in the National League Eastern Division with a 33-24 record, they registered a 4.6 household rating, up 31% from the first two months of last season. A 1.0 rating equals 28,169 households.  But NBC Sports Philadelphia said the team is still on pace to have the highest-rated season since 2012, when the team was coming off its five-year string of division championships from 2007 to 2011, led by recognizable stars like Jimmy Rollins, Chase Utley and Ryan Howard.
