US President Donald Trump said Thursday that he will consider inviting the Toronto Raptors, the first Canadian team to win an NBA title, to the White House. "If they'd like to do it, we'll think about that," Trump told reporters during an Oval Office meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The Tampa Bay Rays reportedly are considering a drastic measure to keep their franchise afloat. Major League Baseball has given the Rays permission to explore a "two-city solution" in which they would play early-season games in the Tampa Bay area and late-season games in Montreal, ESPN's Jeff Passan reported Thursday. The bold plan calls for both a non-domed stadium in the Tampa Bay area and a new stadium in Montreal to be built, per Passan, who notes the number of games in each city has yet to be determined.
