Pablo Sandoval isn't getting regular at-bats these days, but he's making the most of his opportunities. Sandoval homered and doubled in his second three-hit game this season, scoring the go-ahead run on Kevin Pillar's two-out single in the eighth inning to lift the San Francisco Giants over the Cincinnati Reds 6-5 on Sunday. Sandoval hit a two-run, opposite-field homer to left in the first off Tyler Mahle that tied the score 2-2, his sixth home run this season. Continue to Article

Giants pitcher Derek Holland has criticized San Francisco's front office and claims he faked an injury that led to a recent stint on the injured list. Contreras crushed a shot estimated at 424 feet into the left-field bleachers for Chicago's third walk-off victory since Tuesday. The Cubs have won 11 of their past 13 games. Continue to Article

The Boston Red Sox have scored eight runs in the third inning against the Seattle Mariners at Fenway Park. It's the second time in just over a week that they've had at least eight in an inning. Last Saturday, they scored nine — also in the third — against the Chicago White Sox in a 15-2 victory. Continue to Article
