David Pastrnak scored the game winner with 88 seconds left in a wild third period to lift the Boston Bruins to a 4-3 win over Columbus in game five of their NHL second round playoff series on Saturday. Pastrnak, who struggled offensively early in the series, redirected a pass from Brad Marchand to just inside the post and out of the reach of Blue Jackets star goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky. David Pastrnak scored twice in a wild third period as the Boston Bruins defeated the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3 on Saturday night. David Krejci and Brad Marchand also scored for Boston and goaltender Tuukka Rask made 33 saves, including a sprawling stop of a shot by Cam Atkinson with 14.6 seconds remaining and the Blue Jackets with an extra attacker on the ice after pulling their goalie. The Stanley Cup playoffs were a showcase for Evgeny Kuznetsov in 2018. Kuznetsov had a goal and five assists in the first-round playoff loss to the Carolina Hurricanes.
