After Christian Yelich helped put Milwaukee ahead, Josh Hader prevented the Mets from coming back. Yelich hit his major league-leading 14th home run, tying the record for most before May 1, and Hader needed just 20 pitches to retire six batters Saturday night and close out the Brewers' 8-6 win over the New York. Yelich's fourth-inning homer off Noah Syndergaard (1-3) was the first on the road this season for the reigning NL MVP. Continue to Article

Aaron Judge won't be back with the New York Yankees anytime soon, a further blow to an injury-decimated team with a mediocre record 3½ weeks into the season. New York's biggest offensive threat and the heart of its clubhouse went on the injured list for the third time in four seasons Sunday, a day after straining the oblique muscle on the left side of his abdomen while hitting a sixth-inning single against Kansas City. Bellinger reached over the right field wall to rob Christian Yelich in the eighth inning of yet another home run, then hit a solo drive off Josh Hader with two outs in the ninth to lift the Dodgers over the Milwaukee Brewers 6-5 on Sunday. What was so jarring for some was the fact that Posey's smile seemed to be missing, which certainly was connected to the numbers on the scoreboard. The game isn't very fun when you're batting . originally appeared on Welcome back to the Home Run Club, Buster Posey. Posey hit his first home run of the 2019 season Sunday in Pittsburgh. The deep fly to dead-center field was a three-run shot that gave the Giants a 3-2 lead over the Pirates in the fifth inning. Continue to Article
