The Texas Rangers have placed second baseman Rougned Odor on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to April 11, with a right knee sprain, the team announced Saturday. In a corresponding move, the Rangers called up infielder/outfielder Danny Santana from Triple-A Nashville. Right-handed pitcher Edinson Volquez also was transferred from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day injured list to open up a 40-man roster spot for Santana. Continue to Article

Veteran right-hander Edwin Jackson is rejoining the Oakland A's organization on a minor league deal. Jackson, 35, went 6-3 with a 3.33 ERA in 17 starts with Oakland last season. Kyler Murray is reportedly scheduled to visit the Arizona Cardinals, who hold the number one pick in the NFL Draft. Oklahoma product Murray has committed to pursuing a job as a starting quarterback in the NFL despite being selected by the Oakland Athletics in the first-round of the 2018 MLB Draft. Davis went 0 for 5 to set the big league mark for the longest hitless streak by a position player, extending his drought to 49 consecutive at-bats in the Baltimore Orioles' 12-4 rout of the Oakland Athletics on Monday night.
