LeBron James insists he has no plans to call time on his NBA career, comparing himself to New England Patriots great Tom Brady. James was the star of the show for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Sacramento Kings on Friday, scoring 29 points and providing 11 assists in a 99-97 victory. Prior to the encounter at the Staples Center, the 34-year-old - a 15-time All Star and a three-time NBA champion - was asked if retirement had crossed his mind. Continue to Article

"I'm not at the end of my story," James said prior to a game between his first place Lakers and the visiting Sacramento Kings at Staples Center. Continue to Article

He'll join Damian Lillard, all-star guard and early MVP candidate, and CJ McCollum, the 2016 Most Improved Player. If you're already raising your eyebrows at the amount of ball-handling guards now on the roster, you're not alone. Continue to Article

Houston
Carmelo Anthony, who hasn't played in over a year since being dumped by the Houston Rockets, has signed a contract with the last place Portland Trail Blazers, US media reported Thursday. The 35-year-old Anthony last played on November 8, 2018 when he shot just one of 11 from the floor and scored two points in the Rockets' 98-80 loss to Oklahoma City. Anthony started just two games and played parts of eight other contests with Houston before being cut and eventually traded to the Chicago Bulls in January 2019. Continue to Article
