When the Houston Rockets traded Chris Paul for Russell Westbrook, there were some worries that James Harden wouldn't gel with his new backcourt-mate. Continuing an early-season trend, Harden led the Rockets to a 111-102 victory on Friday by smoking the Indiana Pacers to the tune of 44 points. The Portland Trail Blazers are reportedly signing Carmelo Anthony, the 2013 NBA scoring champ who last played for the Houston Rockets a full year ago. Anthony started just two games and played parts of eight other contests with Houston before being cut and eventually traded to the Chicago Bulls in January 2019. Continue to Article

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be one that applies to one particular family in the NBA. A brilliant moment during Houston Rockets' 102-93 win over the LA Clippers saw Rockets star Austin Rivers call for the opposition coach to be ejected from the game. Father and son went head-to-head as Rivers Sr took his side to Texas to face a Rockets side containing his second son Austin in their ranks. Continue to Article

Houston
Houston Rockets guard Austin Rivers said Thanksgiving is going to be weird this year with his father. The sight of Rivers urging a referee Wednesday to give his dad Doc Rivers, the coach of the opposing Los Angeles Clippers, a technical foul during their game in Houston is peak family fun. The elder Rivers was issued two technicals and ejected from the game, eventually won by the Rockets, 102-93. Continue to Article
