Jordan Greenway notched the game-winning goal in the third period as the Minnesota Wild defeated Arizona for the second time in six days, dropping the visiting Coyotes 3-2 on Thursday night. Minnesota's Joel Eriksson Ek won a faceoff, and Jonas Brodin's blast from near the blue line caromed off Arizona defenseman Aaron Ness and then Greenway for the latter's first goal at 12:11. Not to jump the gun or anything, The Sharks aren't out of the woods yet. Continue to Article

Brent Burns, Evander Kane and Patrick Marleau scored first-period goals, and the host San Jose Sharks went on to claim a 6-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night. Martin Jones made 21 saves while Erik Karlsson collected three assists for the Sharks, who have won four straight games. San Jose has an 8-0-1 record in its past nine meetings with Edmonton. The Sharks might be dealing with some bumps and bruises on their blue line. But after playing a good game last weekend against the Predators, head coach Peter DeBoer isn't too worried about penciling another defenseman into the lineup. Tim Heed will file back into the lineup on Tuesday night against the Edmonton Oilers with Mario Ferraro and Dalton Prout not quite ready to return to game action. Continue to Article
