Wisler, 26, had been designated for assignment by the Padres on Saturday, adding right-hander Robert Stock to the roster instead. Sale, who was a key component to last season's championship, and was even called out of the bullpen to record the final three outs of the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, is now 3-8 on the season after the Red Sox were upended 6-3 by the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday. Baseball pitcher Tyler Skaggs has been found dead at the age of 27, two days after his last game. Skaggs' team, the Los Angeles Angels, said his body was found in a hotel room in Arlington, Texas, were the team was due to play the Texas Rangers. “It is with great sorrow that we report Tyler Skaggs passed away earlier today in Texas,” the Angels said in a statement.
