New York Rangers
Just a few weeks before the NHL trade deadline the New York Rangers told their fans that changes were coming. It continued over the past few days with the trading of Michael Grabner to New Jersey, Rick Nash and Nick Holden to Boston, and J.T. Miller and Ryan McDonagh to Tampa Bay. In return for those seven players (including Stepan and Raanta) the Rangers have picked up 16 assets in return. Continue to Article

Playing behind Victor Hedman he will bolster the Bolts’ already fearsome defensive left side. Continue to Article

New York Rangers
Earlier this month, New York Rangers management issued a letter to their fans about the new direction the team would be going in. Instead of pushing for a playoff spot, they decided that it was time to “be focused on adding young, competitive players that combine speed, skill and character. At the time, many, including myself, thought it was very progressive of the Rangers to outline their future plans to their fans. Continue to Article

Philadelphia Flyers right wing Wayne Simmonds will miss two to three weeks with an upper-body injury, the team announced Tuesday. Simmonds was injured during Sunday's game against the New York Rangers. Although he finished the game with an assist in 14:05 of ice time, reports hint he may have been hurt during a first-period fight with New York's Tony DeAngelo. Continue to Article
