There will be snubs. We knew that heading into Tuesday when both Oscar nominations and the NBA All-Star team reserves were revealed, but two particularly stand out. No I, Tonya for best picture? Out of NINE nominations?! Snub! And no Chris Paul in the Continue to Article

With the NBA All-Star game, there are always legitimate snubs — and with the Western Conference so ridiculously deep this season good players were going to get left out. Los Angeles has been devastated by injuries this season (not to mention losing Chris Paul in the off-season) yet they are still in the playoff hunt in the West and the main reason is Lou Williams. The leading Sixth Man of the Year candidate is averaging 23.3 points per game, 5,3 assists a night, and is shooting better than 40 percent from three. Continue to Article

LOS ANGELES - Austin Rivers knows what you think about him. Spoiled. Cocky. Entitled coaches' kid. Bust. "People can say whatever they want about me and my father [LA Clippers coach Doc Rivers]," the guard told ESPN in a lengthy interview Wednesday night. "I get it. I can even put my ego aside and understand why people don't like the situation. When I was growing up and I'd see the coach's son, you'd be like, 'He sucks. He's only on the team because of his dad.' So I get it." He might even agree with those who see him that way. "People are like, 'Well, his dad gave him his chance.' Is that true or not? I don't know. It might be," Rivers said. "[But] could it be that my pops knew how good I could Continue to Article

Members of the Houston Rockets are upset and disappointed that Los Angeles Clippers players Blake Griffin and Austin Rivers were not punished for their roles in an incident following Monday's game, reports ESPN.com. Rockets forwards Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green were suspended two games after they entered the Clippers' locker room following a 113–102 loss. Continue to Article
