Joel Embiid didn't let back stiffness keep him from returning to the Sixers' lineup on Tuesday with a dominant effort in the team's 118-112 OT win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Embiid had 28 points (8 of 16 shooting), 12 rebounds and eight assists in a career-high 39 minutes. Oklahoma City Thunder star Carmelo Anthony acknowledged he is enduring the toughest offensive stretch of his NBA career. Going into the Thunder's matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves on December 1, the 33-year-old was averaging 19.7 points per game which was his lowest output since the 2004-05 season.
