Texans defensive end J.J. Watt has been around the team since suffering a season-ending tibial plateau fracture in Week Five against the Chiefs, but he’s always been on crutches when spotted on the sideline. Watt’s rehab has progressed to a point where he’s able to discard them to work out, however. There’s a lot of other steps for Watt to take before he’ll be in position to return to the team, but none of them are possible without taking that first one. Continue to Article

J.J. Watt has missed most of the last two seasons with injuries, but if we’ve learned anything about the burly Houston Texans star, it’s that he’s got willpower (and branding instinct) that the rest of the world can only admire. In an early-October game, Watt suffered a tibial plateau fracture, which looked every bit as painful as it sounds. The offense of the Houston Texans doesn’t have the margin of error to absorb multiple turnovers a game from the quarterback position. Monday night against the Ravens, Tom Savage was responsible for three turnovers as the Texans lost 23-16 in Baltimore. Savage was intercepted twice and lost a fumble on a sack by Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs. Continue to Article
