Playing without the injured John Wall, Washington seemingly pulled away with a 16-5 run in the fourth quarter for a 92-75 lead, but McCollum's personal 7-0 run put Portland up 106-105 with 21 seconds remaining. Pat Connaughton hit two free throws with 2.6 seconds. Continue to Article

Golden State Warriors forward Jordan Bell is clearly happy he's on the Warriors and not the Bulls. While Chicago drafted the former Oregon standout with pick No. 38 in last year's NBA draft, the Bulls then traded Bell to the defending champion Warriors for $3.5 million. American sports broadcaster ESPN quoted a team source as saying that Rose is "tired of being hurt and it's taking a toll on him mentally." Rose was the 2011 league MVP as a member of the Chicago Bulls before multiple knee injuries interrupted his career. Continue to Article

A year removed from winning MVP, Rose was again the best player on the team that tied for the NBA's best record. That all changed when Rose went down because of a torn left ACL, one that would sideline him the entire 2012-13 season. Another knee surgery followed, and while Rose was subsequently able to return, he has never been the same player -- or able to stay healthy for entire seasons. Frustration with those injuries might lead Rose to walk away from the Cleveland Cavaliers, ESPN's Dave McMenamin and Adrian Continue to Article
