The news comes after the team lost star cornerback Richard Sherman to a torn Achilles in last week's "Thursday Night Game" win against the Arizona Cardinals. The Dallas Cowboys owner said in an interview Tuesday with 105.3 The Fan in Dallas that he has no plans to retract his threat of suing the NFL and some owners on the compensation committee over concerns about a Goodell contract extension. Jones, who accused committee chairman and Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank of misleading owners on "critical facts" about the contract talks, preached patience in the extension process for Goodell, whom he said has served between 60 to 65 percent of his current contract.
