San Jose Sharks general manager Doug Wilson has never been one to shy away from a trade. Reportedly, he's already looking to move three players 10 games into the season. Wilson's been "trying to deal" two of the team's most recent free agent signings: Winger Mikkel Boedker, and defenseman Paul Martin, according to the Ottawa Sun's Bruce Garrioch. Acquiring an additional second round pick must have been tempting for the Tampa Bay Lightning, but keeping blue liner Mikhail Sergachev on the team definitely outweighed that. When the Lightning traded Jonathan Drouin to Montreal for Sergachev, there was a conditional second round pick involved in the deal. For one Sunday, the fires that staggered this small city and wiped out thousands of homes were an afterthought at Snoopy's Home Ice In Northern California. In an ice rink built by Peanuts cartoon creator Charles Schulz, hundreds of 7- and 8-year-olds gathered to play the annual Great Halloween Jamboree tournament, a daylong hockey tournament that brought the Santa Rosa community together after the devastation.
