Redskins tight end Jordan Reed will reportedly play through the effects of a fractured big toe at least early in the season. the ailment that kept Reed on the physically unable to perform list for all of training camp and the first two preseason games was a toe fracture, Per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. That injury forced him to adjust the way he runs, causing him to have issues with the other parts of his foot. The effects of the injury could limit him early this season. Reed was activated from the PUP list on August 20 and he played in the Redskins’ third preseason game against the Bengals, catching two passes for 12 yards.  Reed was not listed on the team’s injury report this week.
