The Rangers (44-24-2) have not won on home ice since Feb. 19, losing five straight at The Garden, dropping their home record to a pedestrian 19-15-2. "If we knew what the problem was, we would fix it," said Rangers alternate captain Derek Stepan. The well-rested and high-scoring Winnipeg Jets took advantage of a New York Islanders team that looked tired Thursday night. Bryan Little scored twice, Connor Hellebuyck made 27 saves and the Jets beat the Islanders 4-2 to snap a four-game skid. Two years of overtime struggles didn't have the Nashville Predators all that concerned. The Predators got the puck and kept it long enough for Viktor Arvidsson to score 65 seconds into overtime and give them a 2-1 victory over the NHL-leading Washington Capitals on Thursday night.
