The Denver Nuggets knew the fight for the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference was going to be tough. Denver (32-35) is riding a three-game winning streak into Thursday's matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers, but to extend it to four it will take some doing. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton each scored 16 points to lead six Milwaukee players in double figures, and the Bucks held off the Los Angeles Clippers 97-96 on Wednesday night when Blake Griffin's last-second shot rolled off the rim.
