NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- �� The Florida Panthers got just the start they wanted for a five-game trip and helped ease the memory of an ugly home loss in their last game. Nick Bjugstad and Vincent Trocheck scored 29 seconds apart in the second period, and the Panthers beat the Nashville Predators 7-4 on Saturday. The Carolina Hurricanes and Dallas Stars both need two points from their Saturday afternoon game at American Airlines Center, but for entirely different reasons. Carolina (24-21-7) will have a five-day break after playing in Dallas, resuming action Feb. 17 against Colorado at PNC Arena. Please recall the bizarre incident at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, as New York Knicks fan favorite Charles Oakley was arrested for assault and criminal trespassing for an NBA game altercation involving Knicks owner James L. Dolan. Oakley, who played 10 seasons with the Knicks, has feuded with Dolan for years, calling the owner a “diva” and never getting the same treatment as other team alumni. The Knicks, meanwhile, infamously released a statement after Wednesday’s incident saying “we hope he gets some help soon” have doubled-down on calling him a liar for his side of the story.
