Booed off the ice after 40 minutes, Jack Eichel and the Buffalo Sabres gave their fans something big to cheer about 1:05 into overtime against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night. ''We get the building going, get some energy in here after they were booing us off the ice and we win a game in overtime and everyone loves us again,'' said Eichel, who had two assists. It’s unclear how Ribeiro will take a demotion since he also requested a trade from the Predators earlier this week. The last time Ribeiro played in the minors was a three-game stint with the Hamilton Bulldogs in the 2002-03 season.
