Malcolm Brogdon scored 28 points and Anthony Gill added 17 for the Cavaliers (16-4, 5-3 Atlantic Coast Conference). Double-digit wins have been absent for Virginia since its ACC opener, but there's a good chance of its next opponent loosening those reins. Wake Forest enters Tuesday night's meeting in Winston-Salem having lost its last three games by wide margins, but even those are made to look reasonable when compared to the last contest between the Cavaliers and Demon Deacons. The Atlantic Coast Conference on Thursday moved two games involving No. 13 Virginia back a day because of forecasts for heavy snow. In Washington, the George Washington's women's basketball game against visiting George Mason has been rescheduled for Friday at noon instead of Saturday in hopes of avoiding the heavy storm. An Atlantic Sun Conference women's game in New Jersey between NJIT and North Florida has been pushed ahead to Friday night instead of Saturday afternoon. Continue to Article
